A galaxy of stars will be coming out at this year’s Under the Stars, offering top music and entertainment for the whole family. I’m really excited by the line-up and I’m sure you will be too.

We welcome world-class entertainers Mica Paris, Omar and Soul II Soul Soundsystem with Jazzie B; top Asian artists Jazzy B and Stereo Nation as well as our ever popular swing and line dancing plus our classical night with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

On Friday 31 August we’ll be holding an afternoon of fun for our younger residents, with some help from the popular Discover in Stratford.

I hope you’ll come along to all four nights of entertainment regardless of your musical taste. I’m sure you’ll agree that you’ll be hard pushed to find such fantastic music anywhere else, absolutely free!

Once again I’d like to thank residents living close to Central Park for their support with this event.

And it doesn’t end there. In September we’re launching a fabulous month of music, dance and film, showcasing the brightest talent in the borough. Look out for your special programme in libraries, leisure centres and Local Service Centres.
